About Zepto Cafe
Join Zepto Cafe as part of their dynamic team in Mumbai, contributing to daily café operations with a focus on customer satisfaction and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare food and beverages strictly following the standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure customer orders are accurately packed and meet quality standards prior to dispatch.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in kitchen areas, workstations, and storage facilities.
- Adhere rigorously to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Supervise and report inventory levels, alerting supervisors of any shortages.
- Manage receipt and storage of ingredients following FIFO guidelines.
- Assist with inventory audits and manage waste to minimize loss.
- Operate kitchen equipment with safety and responsibility.
- Support timely order processing during peak operational hours.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet operational goals.
- Comply with grooming standards, safety protocols, and company policies.
Candidate Profile and Skills
- Basic proficiency in food preparation and order packing.
- Familiarity with food hygiene and safety procedures.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving work environment.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork aptitude.
- Good time management and meticulous attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work rotational shifts including weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
Minimum educational qualification is completion of 10th or 12th grade. Candidates with or without prior experience are welcome. Experience working in cafés, quick-service restaurants, traditional restaurants, or food delivery kitchens is beneficial.
Physical Requirements
- Capability to stand for prolonged durations.
- Able to lift and carry light to moderate weight objects.
- Comfortable working in a kitchen setting.
