About the Role

This Business Intelligence Analyst position plays a crucial role in shaping monetization strategy, enhancing revenue yield, and ensuring operational excellence for T-Mobile’s owned and third-party advertising inventory.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize data from ad servers, supply-side platforms (SSPs), and demand partners to fulfill analytic requirements and steer AdTech and BI data initiatives across mobile apps, websites, and programmatic platforms.
- Lead troubleshooting activities for daily revenue issues such as discrepancies, fill rates, and auction health.
- Develop comprehensive dashboards integrating multiple data sources to communicate key metrics like revenue yield, eCPM, fill rates, floor pricing, win rates, and audience monetization to leadership.
- Organize regular data review meetings with internal teams and external partners to assess revenue trends and test impacts, documenting operational learnings.
- Construct pricing models for both owned and third-party inventory and conduct SSP experiments focused on yield enhancement, floor price trials, and demand partner optimizations.
- Drive insights on yield and operations from inventory and customer data, collaborating with Product and AdOps teams on A/B and multivariate testing aimed at improving monetization.
- Present detailed analyses, strategic findings, and recommendations on AdTech yield and monetization to senior leadership via dynamic dashboards and executive summaries.
- Perform competitive analysis on market trends, monetization approaches, and partner metrics to boost the value of T-Mobile’s advertising inventory.
- Continuously improve yield management procedures and document analysis outcomes, troubleshooting methods, and operational best practices to support scalable revenue growth.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree combined with at least two years of relevant work experience or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
- Preferred educational backgrounds include Business, Statistics, Economics, Marketing, or related disciplines.
- Desirable at least two years of professional experience in business intelligence.
- Proven skills in conducting and communicating data-driven quantitative and qualitative analyses and report preparation.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Proficient technical skills in data visualization, SQL, automation, reporting, metric design, and modeling techniques.
- Strong analytical capabilities including problem solving and critical reasoning.
- Effective communication, consulting, influence, and relationship-building skills.
- Familiarity with telecommunications, supply chain, network technology, or procurement domains.
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to work in the United States.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $66,900 to $120,600 annually, complemented by a corporate bonus target of 10%, subject to company and individual performance. Compensation will be influenced by location, qualifications, and experience.
