Business Development Manager - Construction & Contracting

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager specialized in the construction and contracting sector based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia to spearhead our company's growth within this dynamic market. The role involves discovering new business ventures, cultivating strategic relationships with clients and stakeholders, and supporting the expansion initiatives across the Saudi construction landscape.

Primary Responsibilities

• Identify and assess potential business opportunities in the construction and contracting field.
• Establish and nurture strong connections with clients, consultants, and key industry figures.
• Oversee pre-qualification, tendering, and proposal submission processes in close partnership with technical and proposal development teams.
• Formulate and implement business development plans that align with organizational growth objectives.
• Keep abreast of market trends, competitor actions, and industry changes to guide strategic planning.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and contracts with potential clients effectively.
• Represent the organization at sector-related events, trade shows, and client engagements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.
• 8 to 10 years of proven experience in business development within the construction and contracting sector.
• Demonstrated success in winning major contracts in the Saudi Arabian construction market.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Saudi Vision 2030 initiatives and the specific dynamics of the local construction industry.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English languages.
