About the Role
Relaxo Footwears Ltd is seeking an experienced Business Development Executive to support retail expansion efforts primarily across South India. The ideal candidate will bring 2 to 3 years of relevant expertise in retail growth strategies, real estate acquisition, leasing, and location scouting, preferably with exposure to well-known brands.
Key Responsibilities and Skills
- Identify and evaluate potential retail sites by conducting thorough market analysis and site assessments.
- Negotiate lease agreements and terms to secure advantageous deals for new retail outlets.
- Leverage knowledge of local markets, customer segments, and retail locations throughout South India to inform site selection decisions.
- Prepare detailed reports, manage documentation, and deliver presentations to support business cases.
- Travel frequently within the South Indian region to explore opportunities and meet stakeholders.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 2 years, maximum 3 years experience in retail expansion, business development, real estate acquisition, leasing or location scouting.
- Preferred background working with footwear or retail brands similar to Paragon, VKC, Metro, Bata.
- Maximum age limit of 45 years.
- Fluency in English, Hindi, Kannada, and Tamil is essential for effective communication.
- Proficient with basic Excel functions and familiar with reporting, documentation, and presentation tools.
