Position Overview

This contract opportunity based in Auckland offers the chance to contribute to a nationally important initiative that focuses on how vital data is organized, governed, and leveraged to improve business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

In collaboration with architects, data engineers, and business stakeholders, the role involves translating business needs into scalable and effective data solutions within complex environments. The Business Analyst will clarify ambiguous challenges, manage multiple stakeholder groups, and work closely with technical teams to define data requirements, data models, and business rules, with a strong emphasis on Snowflake and data modelling.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated success as a Senior Business Analyst managing intricate data or analytics projects.
• Extensive experience with Snowflake data platforms.
• Expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling techniques.
• Skilled in eliciting, analyzing, and documenting both business and data-related requirements.
• Proficient in partnering with data architects, engineers, and governance groups.
• Strong ability to engage and communicate effectively with diverse business and technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with enterprise data platforms, cloud data warehouses, and contemporary analytics environments.
