Brand Director

About the Role

The Brand Director position is a full-time remote opportunity responsible for defining and enhancing the Sri Lanka Fintech Forum's brand presence across all channels. This role ensures brand consistency and alignment with strategic objectives by managing brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity. Daily responsibilities include devising and implementing brand and marketing strategies, leading market planning activities, and supervising content creation and campaigns aimed at key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive brand and marketing strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Lead market planning initiatives to support brand growth and engagement.
• Collaborate with leadership, marketing teams, and external partners to enhance brand awareness and manage key projects.
• Conduct ongoing market and audience analysis to inform brand direction and decision-making.
• Oversee the creation of compelling content and campaigns that resonate with the target audience.

Qualifications and Skills

• Extensive experience in brand strategy and management, particularly in establishing and evolving brand identity and positioning.
• Expertise in market planning and integrated brand marketing campaigns.
• Strong skills in market research, including analyzing audiences, competitors, and trends, with the ability to convert insights into actionable brand strategies.
• Experience leading brand initiatives within technology, fintech, or related industries using strategic and data-driven methods.
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder engagement abilities to influence and collaborate effectively.
• Proven leadership in managing cross-functional projects and coordinating with external agencies or partners.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline; advanced degrees or relevant certifications are advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote setting with superior organizational skills and capacity to prioritize multiple tasks independently.
