About the Role
We are seeking professionals with advanced biology expertise to assist in training and assessing innovative AI models in the life sciences domain. Candidates holding or pursuing a Master's degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or related fields will greatly contribute to advancing AI capabilities in biology.
This position is a remote contract opportunity offering flexible hours, where your scientific knowledge is paramount, and no previous AI experience is necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Create sophisticated biology-themed questions and challenges designed to thoroughly evaluate AI performance.
- Develop detailed, logical solutions grounded in scientific principles for these challenges.
- Assess AI-generated responses for accuracy, reasoning quality, and depth of biological understanding.
- Work in collaboration with researchers to design and refine benchmarks covering undergraduate through Master's level biology topics.
- Deliver structured, high-quality feedback that influences AI reasoning in complex scientific contexts.
Candidate Profile
- Currently enrolled in or completed a Master's in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a closely related discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in advanced biological concepts.
- Ability to clearly and concisely articulate complex scientific ideas in writing.
- Meticulous attention to detail, committed to rigorous and accurate work.
- Self-driven and comfortable with independent, asynchronous work.
- No previous experience with AI required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data annotation, quality evaluation, or assessment frameworks.
- Expertise in molecular biology, genetics, cell biology, or related areas.
- Basic understanding of large language model operations.
