Job Overview

We are looking for a meticulous BIM Technician to join our architectural team in Buraidah, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will support the delivery of precise, production-ready BIM models and associated drawing sets, ensuring strong alignment and coordination with structural and MEP disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

Create and uphold accurate architectural Revit models throughout all project phases including SD, DD, and CD, maintaining model clarity and consistency.
Generate coordinated drawings and comprehensive sheets from BIM models, such as plans, sections, elevations, details, and schedules, adhering to annotation and standard protocols.
Organize and maintain BIM models with proper use of levels, grids, worksets, view templates, filters and standardized naming conventions to ensure model integrity and stability.
Collaborate closely with structural and MEP consultants to integrate their inputs, align models and drawings, and proactively resolve clashes or discrepancies.
Identify potential coordination conflicts early on, including clearance issues, penetrations, ceiling clashes, shafts, and plant rooms, and assist in tracking and managing outstanding issues.
Maintain precise documentation including clean tags, accurate dimensions, keynotes, legends, callouts, sheet indexes, and plotting outputs following office standards.
Apply rigorous QA/QC checks using project-specific checklists, self-review outputs thoroughly before submission, and provide signed checklists when required.
Manage revisions efficiently, ensuring accurate updates of revision notes, clouds, and version control in accordance with release logs.
Adhere to firm protocols for template use, shared parameters, family management, sheet setup, naming standards, and archival processes.
Participate in kick-off and coordination meetings, record technical directions, and translate decisions into model and drawing refinements.
Support architects and technical leads with BIM-related tasks including view exports, package preparation, library maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Engage in continuous professional development and contribute towards enhancing BIM workflows, templates, family libraries, automation processes, and plotting methods.

Candidate Profile

Minimum of five years of experience in architectural BIM modeling and construction documentation.
Proficiency in Revit encompassing modeling, documentation, sheet setups, view controls, and adherence to coordination standards.
Strong skills in CAD applications with emphasis on 2D detailing, clean drafting, and plotting.
Good understanding of architectural documentation principles, constructability considerations, and collaborative consultant coordination.
Highly organized with keen attention to detail, consistency in applying standards, and meeting deadlines with quality output.
Additional advantages include familiarity with BIM Execution Plans, clash detection software, handling large-scale projects, family creation techniques, exposure to Dynamo/automation tools, and awareness of ISO 19650 standards.
