About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with the Manager, Quality Assurance to validate and test business applications, reducing operational risks.
- Lead, design, plan, and implement test scenarios, organizing deliverables, and addressing dependencies and obstacles.
- Draft, update, and confirm the accuracy of test plans, processes, and documentation to support implemented or upgraded solutions.
- Conduct various forms of testing such as functional, system, integration, regression, user experience, and user acceptance.
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and diagnose issues, offering prompt resolution support in non-production and production environments.
- Generate and present detailed testing reports to stakeholders, including IT management, trainers, project managers, and business leads.
- Identify patterns and areas for process improvements while developing recommendations for stakeholder consideration.
- Maintain and enhance the use of QA tools, applications, and standards, while ensuring core functionalities remain robust.
- Contribute to the development and operationalization of the QA Centre of Excellence, including promoting best practices and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and participate in feedback sessions to enhance the firm’s testing strategies.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least five years of hands-on QA experience, particularly in IT principles, testing methodologies, and the QA lifecycle—including script design, execution, and issue management.
- University degree is required.
- Bilingual in French and English.
- Experience in a professional services environment is a plus.
- Certifications such as CAST or CSQA are considered assets.
- Advanced computer literacy and a willingness to stay current with new technologies.
- Familiarity with test automation strategies and tools.
- Proficiency with tracking and collaboration platforms (e.g., Teams, SharePoint, ServiceNow), as well as remote access technologies (Citrix, VPN).
- Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite, document management systems, and programming or scripting (Perl, Java, JavaScript, Python, C#, PHP, Ruby, SQL, XML, HTML).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks.
