Position Overview
This opportunity is for a BI Data Analyst role based in the United States, working remotely. The position involves transforming complex datasets into insightful and actionable information to influence operational and financial decisions. The analyst will design, develop, and sustain analytics solutions aimed at enhancing visibility, improving efficiency, and boosting business outcomes, particularly within a healthcare technology setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze multifaceted datasets to uncover trends, patterns, anomalies, and significant business factors.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather and define reporting needs, key performance indicators, metrics, and determination of success criteria.
- Create, maintain, and upgrade Power BI dashboards and reporting tools that facilitate informed business decisions.
- Develop and optimize SQL scripts to extract, transform, and manipulate data effectively.
- Assist in ETL process support and collaborate with data engineering teams to enhance data pipeline and analytical capabilities.
- Ensure data quality and accuracy via thorough validation, testing, and reconciliation across systems.
- Translate business objectives into scalable analytics solutions and actionable insights.
- Guarantee that analytics products are reliable, user-friendly, and aligned with organizational goals.
- Work alongside BI, IT, product development, and operational teams to continuously enhance reporting and data solutions.
- Contribute to data governance and security practices within analytics projects.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Statistics, or related disciplines, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience with SQL databases and data analysis methodologies.
- Familiarity with Snowflake or equivalent cloud data warehouse platforms.
- Experience supporting ETL and data pipeline workflows.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and meticulous attention to data accuracy.
- Prior exposure to healthcare data or Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) data is advantageous.
- Experience in developing Power BI dashboards and reports is preferred.
- Understanding of analytics platforms, data governance, and security standards.
- Knowledge of collaboration and development tools like Jira or GitHub is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
