Role Summary

The BI Analyst will be responsible for delivering timely and accurate business insights via robust reporting and analytics tools, supporting strategic decisions through detailed data examination primarily on sales, stock, and pre-order performance. This role involves maintaining and advancing Power BI reports and data models, sourcing diverse datasets, and collaborating cross-functionally with teams including Sales, Operations, Marketing, Direct-to-Consumer, and Market Intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, publish, and sustain accurate business reports and dashboards reflecting sales, inventory, and pre-order metrics, ensuring data integrity.
• Enhance and maintain Power BI infrastructure, implementing automation to streamline reporting workflows.
• Aggregate and analyze data from multiple sources to generate actionable business insights.
• Engage with multiple departments to understand requirements and provide tailored data support and best practices advice.
• Interpret complex data sets to detect trends, opportunities, and risks, communicating findings effectively to stakeholders.
• Foster collaborative relationships within the organization, working closely with European Market and Consumer Intelligence teams.
• Drive a data-centric culture by promoting analytics adoption and providing user support.
• Scout for new data sources and analytical methods, including advancements in BI, AI, and visualization technologies to elevate business outcomes.
• Contribute data-driven recommendations to improve operational efficiency and drive growth initiatives.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in a comparable BI Analyst or data-driven role.
• Passion and knowledge of the video game sector.
• Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in deciphering complex datasets into clear insights.
• Proficient with Power BI for report creation, maintenance, and visualization.
• Advanced skills in Excel spreadsheets for data manipulation and analysis.
• Effective communication skills to clearly convey analytical findings.
• Strong commercial acuity and understanding of data’s role in strategic decision-making.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills.
