Bartender

Position Overview

This role involves crafting beverage orders tailored to guests using exact recipes and measurement tools. Responsibilities include opening and serving wines and champagnes, organizing and keeping the bar and its tools clean and orderly, and preparing fresh drink garnishes. Additionally, the candidate will manage stock such as ice, glassware, and paper products, transport supplies to bar areas, and ensure all used glassware is cleaned thoroughly.

The role includes anticipating supply needs, handling multiple payment types accurately, managing cash and discrepancies, and taking responsibility for securing liquor and related stock. Closing tasks and security of inventory areas are also vital parts of the job.

The candidate must uphold company policies including safety protocols, reporting hazards or incidents as needed, and maintaining certifications. A professional appearance and confidentiality of company information are expected. The position requires positive interaction with guests and team members, upholding service and quality standards, and effective communication.

Physical Requirements

The job demands physical activities such as standing, walking, lifting or moving items up to 50 pounds, bending, twisting, and navigating varied terrain including stairs and ramps throughout the shift.

Qualification and Experience

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of one year in a relevant role. No supervisory experience or certifications are necessary.
