Job Description
We are looking for National Training Standard (NTS) certified Credentialed Background Investigators to join us in Dallas, TX. You will carry out thorough interviews with subjects, their employers, associates, and references, and examine relevant records to verify facts and resolve key issues. This process helps determine a subject's background, reputation, character, suitability, or qualifications. All gathered information must be documented carefully and reported in detail within stringent deadlines.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Committed to supporting national security missions.
- Strong work ethic, integrity, and positive attitude.
- Physical ability to walk, type, sit, or stand for prolonged periods.
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, particularly in composing detailed and extensive reports.
- Prior experience in conducting background investigations.
- Typically holds a bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience, along with at least three years in related positions.
- Consistent delivery of quality, timely, and efficient work.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a favorable adjudication based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required; daily local travel based on assignments, or use of public transport when feasible.
Security Clearance
Applicants must have a favorable adjudication for a Top-Secret clearance grounded on a Tier 5 or Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI).
