Automation Operator

Introduction

Fuji Electric is seeking experienced Automation Operators for their manufacturing unit in Oragadam, Chennai. The role involves overseeing automated production machinery to ensure efficient operation while maintaining product quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated production and assembly equipment.
• Load raw materials and components into machines accurately.
• Observe machine performance and manage production output.
• Execute basic machine adjustments and changeovers based on instructions.
• Detect minor mechanical issues and promptly communicate with the maintenance team.
• Perform visual inspections on finished products to ensure quality standards.
• Document daily production details and machine conditions systematically.
• Maintain workplace organization adhering to 5S standards.
• Follow standard operating procedures, safety protocols, and quality benchmarks.
• Work in rotating shift patterns to meet production deadlines.

Candidate Requirements

• ITI or Diploma qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or similar disciplines.
• Between 1 to 3 years of work experience in an automation or manufacturing setting.
• Basic familiarity with PLC-controlled or automated machinery is advantageous.
• Sound understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety practices.
• Flexibility and readiness to work in shifts on a rotational basis.

Compensation and Benefits

• Monthly salary ranging from ₹14,000 to ₹16,500, processed via direct company payroll.
