Job description
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Façade Designer with 3 to 5 years of expertise primarily working on AutoCAD within the façade and glass industry in Hyderabad. Candidates should hold a B.Tech degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and comprehend project scope by reviewing CAD drawings.
- Generate area statements to support project planning.
- Optimize the usage of aluminium and glass materials, preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for defined areas.
- Coordinate with the estimation team by preparing quotes or forwarding BOQs.
- Create concept drawings during BOQ preparation to facilitate design decisions.
- Develop working drawings, shop drawings, and fixing details to guide fabrication and construction.
- Prepare as-built drawings upon project completion.
- Conduct site visits as necessary before project finalization and support the on-site execution team throughout the project duration.
- Collaborate closely with the site team and assist the sales team during project finalization phases.
Technical Requirements
- Hands-on experience of 3-5 years using AutoCAD in façade design within the construction industry.
- Proficient in Revit, SketchUp, BIM, Grasshopper, and Staad Pro.
- Familiarity with BMS and Autodesk Inventor is preferred.
- Experience related to glass façade and construction sectors is desirable.
Compensation and Location
Salary will be offered according to current market standards. The position is based in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India.
