About the Role

This full-time, on-site position located in Dubai requires an experienced AutoCAD Draftsman skilled in delivering precise 2D and 3D technical drawings specifically for conveyor systems, belting solutions, and material handling equipment. The candidate will develop detailed fabrication, assembly, and installation plans aligned with engineering requirements and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to design conveyor layouts and mechanical assemblies.
• Create technical drawings that adhere to organizational standards as well as industry best practices.
• Update and modify drawings based on site measurements, client input, and engineering changes.
• Maintain well-organized documentation of drawings during the entire project duration.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proficient in AutoCAD 2D and 3D CAD programs such as SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or Fusion 360.
• Experienced in producing 2D shop drawings and 3D models related to conveyor systems or industrial machinery.
• Able to generate fabrication, assembly, and installation drawings with meticulous accuracy.
• Holds a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Drafting, or similar technical disciplines.
• Background in conveyor systems, power transmission, or material handling machinery is strongly preferred.
• Capable of interpreting engineering drawings, technical specifications, and manufacturing criteria.
• Possesses excellent attention to detail, problem-solving capabilities, and can meet deadlines effectively.
• Proficient in English communication; knowledge of additional regional languages is beneficial.
