Job description
Job Overview
This role involves working with the Allwyn team to conduct knowledge checks in retail stores to ensure awareness of preventing underage gambling and reducing excessive play. You will visit stores across the Bradford-on-Avon area and nearby towns such as Bath, Yeovil, Wells, and Glastonbury, engaging with store personnel serving the lottery and assessing their understanding through a series of questions. Based on the responses, you will provide guidance on any gaps in knowledge or training.
Responsibilities
- Visit multiple retail locations daily during hours between 8 AM and 7 PM, Monday to Friday.
- Engage in conversations with store lottery personnel to evaluate compliance with policies related to underage play and responsible gaming.
- Record assessment results accurately using a dedicated app on a smart device while onsite.
- Provide constructive feedback to the team regarding call procedures and challenges faced during visits.
- Plan daily schedules and travel routes effectively to meet visit targets.
Requirements
- Friendly and approachable with a strong ability to relate to retail contacts of varying levels.
- Dependable and committed to achieving work targets.
- Excellent communication skills suitable for interacting with retail staff.
- Comfortable with using technology, including apps on smart devices for data entry.
- Own a vehicle and be able to travel within assigned postcode areas.
- Strong organizational skills to plan journeys and visits efficiently.
- Accuracy in data recording and reporting.
Additional Details
- Daily compensation is £112.45, which includes holiday pay and bonuses, plus mileage reimbursement.
- Employment is permanent and full-time, with working hours arranged by your Regional Manager.
- Initial training is conducted face-to-face on a mutually agreed date.
