Role Overview

The Audience Development Lead will be responsible for driving and enhancing engagement across various events, awards, webinars, and thought leadership initiatives. The role specifically targets senior decision-makers, including C-suite executives, government officials, project leaders, and industry influencers, primarily across the Middle East and important international markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and connect with senior business leaders in high-impact industries.
• Establish and maintain relationships with C-level executives, government representatives, and industry figures.
• Conduct outreach through multiple channels such as phone, email, and LinkedIn.
• Articulate the value proposition of MEED's events, awards, and content offerings clearly and effectively.
• Secure attendance and participation from quality targets in events, roundtables, webinars, and award programs.
• Support guest experiences during flagship events and ensure alignment with event goals and client needs.
• Maintain accurate records and monitor attendance forecasts to provide regular progress reports.
• Identify suitable organizations and projects for award submissions and assist entrants throughout the process.
• Conduct market research on companies, sectors, and decision-makers to develop targeted prospect lists that align with event objectives.
• Track market developments to find new engagement opportunities and continually enhance audience relevance and quality.
• Utilize CRM and project management tools to manage activities, workflows, and reporting.
• Initiate and share ideas to refine outreach strategies and audience engagement efforts.
• Proactively seek and address challenges and opportunities in audience development.

Candidate Profile

• Fluency in spoken and written English with excellent communication skills.
• Confident and professional telephone etiquette.
• Comfort engaging with senior executives and key decision-makers.
• Strong interpersonal skills capable of building trusting relationships.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
• Ability to work effectively within target-driven environments and meet deadlines.
• Sound research abilities with experience in events, media, sales, audience development, recruitment, business development, stakeholder engagement, or other client-facing roles.
