Overview
Tesla's Associate Service Managers play a key role in steering superior customer service and operational productivity within our service centers. This position involves supporting daily service center operations to consistently deliver exceptional outcomes across customer relations, team management, operational effectiveness, and financial targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Surpass customer satisfaction through monitoring service trends and developing procedures that enhance the overall service delivery.
- Exemplify leadership by setting priorities that favor team achievements and promoting team development through continuous feedback and guidance.
- Improve all facets of service center performance by prioritizing safety, operational efficiency, quality standards, and advancing technical skills.
- Understand business performance metrics and oversee daily operations to meet targets in productivity, quality, cost control, and profitability.
- Adapt swiftly in a dynamic environment, handling high-pressure situations effectively while balancing analytical and practical problem-solving with customer-focused service.
- Represent Tesla’s values by advocating for customer and team success, and demonstrate commitment to Tesla’s mission and stakeholders.
- Acquire comprehensive knowledge of all Tesla products, service platforms, procedures, and processes to enhance technical expertise.
Candidate Profile
- Holds a Bachelor's degree or possesses equivalent professional experience.
- Has prior leadership experience within a service-driven sector; specific automotive background is not essential.
- Experience in managing diverse teams with varying responsibilities, especially in fast-paced, technology-centric, customer-facing settings.
- Proven record leading teams in field operations, technical repairs, or manufacturing environments using Lean methodologies or similar process optimization techniques.
- Possesses a valid driver’s license.
