Role Overview
We are seeking a Programmatic Trading Executive to join our team in Singapore. Positioned at the center of digital media operations, this role is essential to the successful execution of campaigns. You will collaborate with various WPP Media teams to oversee programmatic campaign planning, execution, analysis, and insights. The ideal candidate will be energetic, adaptable, and enthusiastic about embracing new challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage programmatic platforms such as Display & Video 360, Campaign Manager, The Trade Desk, Xandr, Google Analytics, and others.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of programmatic buying systems including DSPs, SSPs, real-time bidding, ad exchanges, DMPs, and audience targeting techniques.
- Handle performance-driven client campaigns aimed at increasing e-commerce sales.
- Maintain workflow to meet deadlines, ensuring all tasks align with service agreements and are executed precisely.
- Develop media plans based on campaign briefs tailored to client objectives.
- Set up campaigns accurately, resolve tracking discrepancies, and activate campaigns following best practices.
- Monitor campaign performance via Google Analytics, DSP dashboards, and automation tools.
- Manage campaign budgets and daily expenditure while continuously monitoring tracking against performance goals.
- Analyze campaign outcomes to uncover trends and insights, providing strategic recommendations to exceed goals.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of programmatic campaign ecosystems including brand safety, viewability, and ad fraud prevention.
- Execute diverse programmatic deal types efficiently.
- Collaborate closely with management and market teams to assist with daily campaign management.
- Establish cooperative relationships with internal teams and clients to seamlessly execute briefing, booking, optimization, and reporting processes.
Success Milestones
- Within 3 months: Acquire deep understanding of client brands and products; gain proficiency in key digital media platforms; obtain certifications on major programmatic platforms; build trusted relationships with team and clients.
- Within 6 months: Become a dependable advisor to clients and markets; actively contribute optimization suggestions; oversee precise and effective campaign optimizations.
- Within 12 months: Expand knowledge of online products and strategies; identify opportunities for process and tool enhancements; solidify position as trusted client partner.
Typical Daily Activities
- Ensure precise campaign planning and activation in DSPs, implementing necessary tracking and trafficking.
- Analyze delivery data to identify optimization prospects that meet client objectives.
- Understand and deploy optimization levers including audience segments, supply sources, timing, frequency, targeting, geography, and creative versions.
- Participate in regular status meetings sharing campaign performance updates.
- Provide insightful reporting to client teams to inform planning and buying decisions.
- Address ad-hoc requests related to campaign feedback promptly.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- At least 1 to 2 years of professional experience in digital media, preferably within an agency or publisher trading desk.
- Proficient in programmatic campaign optimization, implementation, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of ad tech components such as ad servers, DSPs, SSPs, RTB, ad exchanges, DMPs, and audience targeting.
- Knowledge of brand safety protocols, viewability measurement, and ad fraud mitigation.
- Skilled with Microsoft Office suite.
- Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities combined with financial and numerical acumen.
