Associate Material Management (Freight, Tender & Facilities)

Job Overview

The role involves joining the Material Management team within the SIA Engineering Division, focusing on supporting freight, tender, and facilities administrative tasks to ensure smooth operational workflow.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain documentation for Material Management contracts and agreements.
• Manage and oversee lease agreements and warehouse floor plans rented by Singapore Airlines.
• Annually verify leased spaces for audit compliance as required by SIA Properties.
• Maintain an up-to-date record of assets and asset listings.
• Oversee and coordinate with contractors responsible for maintenance, servicing, and repair of the Automated Storage-Retrieval System (ASRS) within the warehouse.
• Prepare, cross-check, and compile freight forwarders' reports against airway bills and shipping documents for monthly GST taxation reporting.
• Review and verify freight invoices for accuracy.
• Provide support in Tender and Request for Proposal (RFP) processes and administer contracts for the Engineering Division and potentially other divisions.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a diploma across any discipline.
• Competency in using MS Office productivity tools.
• Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and engineering staff working on the shop floor.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated, driven, capable of working collaboratively as a team member, and also independently.
• Ability to perform well under pressure in a dynamic environment.
