About the Role

We are seeking an Associate IT Operations Engineer based in the United States to join our partner company. This is a prime opportunity for early-career IT professionals interested in gaining practical experience maintaining critical IT infrastructure across a variety of environments.

The role demands hands-on support of enterprise technology systems, combining hardware maintenance, incident resolution, infrastructure operations, and system monitoring within a fast-paced and evolving setting. Key Responsibilities

Offer end-user technical support for desktops, laptops, point-of-sale terminals, iOS devices, printers, and VoIP phones.
Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain hardware and software.
Assist in infrastructure management including server and network hardware, wireless systems, and connectivity solutions.
Work with Dell and Nutanix servers, Windows Server environments, network devices, and manufacturing technologies.
Monitor IT incidents through helpdesk systems, investigate alerts from monitoring tools, and escalate as needed.
Conduct routine system tests to uphold security, reliability, and optimal performance.
Deploy software updates, patches, and handle system upgrades on workstations, servers, and network devices.
Create and maintain documentation regarding troubleshooting processes, solutions, and procedures.
Participate in scheduled on-call duties during nights, weekends, and holidays.
Support IT planning, project implementation, and administration across various technology sectors.
Travel as required, up to 40%, for technical support at multiple operational sites.

Candidate Requirements

Willingness and ability to travel up to 40% for job duties.
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related fields preferred.
Up to two years of relevant IT support or related technical experience.
Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, networking principles, and user technology devices.
Familiarity with PC/laptop hardware, mobile and POS systems, servers, and networking equipment.
Fundamental knowledge of network troubleshooting including Ethernet and fiber optic connectivity.
Experience with system monitoring platforms is advantageous.
Competence in diagnosing and resolving technical hardware and software problems.
Strong communication skills to assist users and coordinate with technical teams.
Ability to manage various priorities while adhering to established IT protocols.
Physical capability to perform equipment installations, including lifting items up to 50 pounds and mobility within operational sites.
Flexibility to participate in on-call rotations.
Must meet required licensing and pass background checks.
