Associate - Hyperlocal Supply Operations

Role Summary

The Associate - Hyperlocal Supply will be an integral part of our quick-commerce division, responsible for managing the end-to-end aspects of hyperlocal supply chain operations. This includes enhancing inward logistics, ensuring inventory accuracy, optimizing SKU assortment, and collaborating seamlessly with sellers, brand partners, warehouses, and category teams to maintain target order fulfillment rates and operational excellence across fulfillment centers and dark stores.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise inward logistics processes within hyperlocal supply to guarantee efficient material flow and timely documentation.
• Identify and rectify discrepancies in inward materials by coordinating with suppliers, brands, and warehouse teams to uphold inventory precision.
• Design and enforce corrective measures to reduce material rejection rates and enhance supplier quality compliance.
• Plan and optimize SKU assortments by identifying fast-selling and high-demand items to maximize availability and drive sales growth.
• Facilitate onboarding of new brands and addition of new styles/products across dark store networks.
• Monitor stock levels vigilantly to prevent stock-outs and support rapid delivery cycles.
• Act as the operational liaison for sellers and brand partners, assisting them through onboarding and operational procedures.
• Educate seller partners on platform processes, promotional campaigns, and fulfillment best practices to stimulate business expansion.
• Manage comprehensive outbound communications to handle queries and escalation tickets effectively.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Category, Planning, Warehouse, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth operational execution.
• Track daily service level metrics to maintain or exceed target order fulfillment rates.
• Utilize spreadsheet tools to analyze operational data, identify bottlenecks, and enhance supply flow efficiency.

Candidate Qualifications & Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related fields such as B.Com.
• 1 to 3 years of practical experience in quick-commerce (hyperlocal), e-commerce fulfillment, marketplace operations, or seller onboarding.
• Strong proficiency in Excel encompassing Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and basic automation/macros for data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with Supply Chain Management (SCM) systems, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), or ticketing platforms.
• Excellent problem-solving skills demonstrated through resolving operational and inventory-related issues.
• Effective communication and vendor relationship management capabilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and achieve service level benchmarks within fast-paced, high-volume work settings.
