Associate Director/Director - Debt Advisory

Position Overview

We are collaborating with a well-established Debt Advisory Partner to expand their team by recruiting an Associate Director or Director. This role involves leading transactions in debt advisory from initiation to completion and acting as the primary client liaison throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and assist the Debt Advisory deal team throughout transactions from start to finish, serving as the main client contact.
• Manage transaction activities including preparing information packages, management presentations, financial analysis, and client communications.
• Conduct industry and company research to support both deal origination and transaction evaluation.
• Perform financial modelling such as analyzing business forecasts, undertaking scenario analyses, and calculating covenants.
• Negotiate commercial terms relating to debt structuring within term sheets.
• Participate in marketing and business development efforts.
• Proactively develop and maintain a professional network of lawyers, business owners, banks, and other relevant contacts.

Candidate Profile

• Qualified accountant preferred but not mandatory.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in Debt Advisory or Corporate Lending within the Irish or UK market.
• Strong numerical aptitude, particularly in financial modelling.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation abilities with confidence in networking.
• Proven track record in deal origination in the Irish or UK market.
