Role overview
The LEGO Group is looking for an Associate Manager focused on benefits to strengthen the employee experience across leaves, accommodations, and benefits administration. This position plays an important part in helping colleagues access the support they need while making sure benefit programs remain fair, competitive, compliant, and aligned with business objectives. The role works closely with People, Places, and Culture (PPC) teammates and supports employees across the United States, Canada, and Brazil.
Location and working model
This position is based at the Boston HUB at 1001 Boylston Street in Boston, MA. The role follows a hybrid arrangement of 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home each week. No relocation assistance is available for this opportunity.
Key responsibilities
You will manage and support leave, accommodation, and benefits activities while partnering with internal teams, external vendors, and employees at all levels of the organization.
Benefits and leaves administration
- Handle employee leave administration, including FMLA and other statutory leave programs, while staying compliant with applicable federal and state rules.
- Support workplace accommodation requests by coordinating with employees, third-party providers, and internal stakeholders.
- Assist with health coverage, retirement plans, and wellness programs so delivery and communication remain smooth and effective.
- Work with external partners such as Aetna, WTW, Fidelity, and Delta Dental to support service quality and communication.
- Take part in benefits compliance work to ensure alignment with federal, state, and local requirements.
- Maintain accurate, confidential records and data connected to leaves, accommodations, and benefits administration.
Process improvement and enrollment support
- Look for ways to simplify benefits processes and introduce practical improvements.
- Support the annual open enrollment cycle, including Workday administration and employee communication efforts to improve understanding and engagement.

What the company is looking for
- Hands-on experience in benefits administration, especially in employee leave and accommodation work.
- Strong analytical ability and solid Excel skills for working with benefits data and spotting process improvements.
- Working knowledge of U.S. employee benefits and accommodation laws; Canadian and/or Brazilian benefits knowledge is an added advantage.
- Clear communication and strong interpersonal skills for working with employees, vendors, and internal partners.
- Ability to solve complex leave and accommodation issues with empathy and professionalism.
- Good organization and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage deadlines effectively.
- High attention to detail and a results-focused approach.
- Comfort working collaboratively and contributing to a positive team culture.
Compensation
The annual salary range for this position is $96,326 to $144,488. Final compensation will depend on relevant factors such as experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other legally permitted considerations. Full remuneration details, including benefits, will be shared when the offer is finalized.
