Role Overview
As an Assistant Store Manager, you will assist the Store Manager in driving the store's overall success by fostering a customer-focused atmosphere, meeting sales goals, upholding consistent store standards, and managing expenses effectively. A vital part of your role will be coaching and training your team to maintain high service standards and achieve business aims.
Key Responsibilities
- Support store leadership to optimize performance and financial results.
- Promote a customer-centric environment ensuring excellent service quality.
- Lead and train staff to enhance product knowledge and customer interaction skills.
- Manage inventory and operational costs responsibly.
- Help achieve sales targets and maintain store presentation standards.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated hands-on leadership style with an ability to engage and motivate team members.
- Passion for animals and retail, coupled with strong interpersonal skills.
- A minimum of two years working experience in a high-volume retail environment.
- At least one year of experience in a retail management or supervisory role.
- Exceptionally organized with a keen eye for detail and commitment to achieving KPIs.
