About Wynn Al Marjan Island

Wynn Al Marjan Island is poised to become the UAE's inaugural integrated resort, scheduled to open in 2027 in Ras Al Khaimah, approximately 50 miles from Dubai International Airport. The resort will boast 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 dining and bar venues, a theater, beach club, multiple pools, a luxury spa and salon, shopping promenade, and an events center.

Position Overview

The resort is looking for an Assistant Manager to support the operations of the Ticket Office team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the management and daily functioning of the Ticket Office.
  • Develop, maintain, update, and oversee all ticketed events within the ticketing platform.
  • Act as a specialist to diagnose and resolve ticketing software and hardware problems.
  • Track online ticket sales and prepare requested analytical reports.
  • Ensure the preparation and dissemination of daily sales and front-of-house reports.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with ticket system partners when necessary.
  • Handle ticket orders from executives, promoters, marketing teams, and artists as requested.
  • Generate all essential reports for nightly show settlements and at the conclusion of event runs.
  • Help supervise the Ticket Office and usher teams, including training new team members.
  • In the manager's absence, assist with disciplinary actions, counseling, and termination processes.
  • Assist in organizing team schedules and payroll for Ticket Office staff and ushers.
  • Coordinate departmental needs alongside Concierge, Front Desk, and Advertising departments.
  • Maintain regular communication with producers, stakeholders, and event hosts to ensure smooth event operations.

Candidate Profile

  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Have at least three years’ experience managing a Ticket Office, ideally with large-scale ticketing firms such as Ticketmaster.
  • Experience overseeing unionized employees is required.
  • Familiarity with various ticketing software platforms is advantageous.
  • Experience in creating and configuring events within ticketing systems is preferred.
  • Ability to lead staff and perform effectively in high-pressure environments.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain accuracy.
  • Willingness to work irregular hours including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Comfort and ability to work with colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds.
