Assistant Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join a nonprofit organization in the United Arab Emirates. The ideal candidate will have proven experience working within nonprofit entities in the UAE, a thorough understanding of local laws and regulations governing nonprofits, and the capability to actively contribute to the organization's activities, business development, and daily operations management with professionalism and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the organization’s manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring workflow efficiency.
• Participate in formulating and implementing strategic and operational plans for the organization.
• Coordinate with government bodies and regulatory authorities to guarantee full compliance with applicable UAE nonprofit laws and regulations.
• Develop and monitor operational plans, track performance indicators, and prepare periodic reports for management review.
• Contribute to the development and establishment of the organization's internal policies and procedures.
• Build and strengthen partnerships with government agencies, private sector entities, donors, and strategic partners.
• Supervise the execution of events and community initiatives to ensure the achievement of desired impact.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in nonprofit organizations within the UAE, preferably in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
• Strong knowledge of UAE nonprofit-related legislations and administrative procedures.
• Excellent relationship-building skills with government agencies, partners, and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in preparing reports, presentations, and stakeholder management.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, both spoken and written.
• Possession of a valid UAE driving license and willingness to travel within the country as required.
