About the Company
Gardens by the Bay is a major part of Singapore’s vision to be a “City in a Garden.” Set across 101 hectares of prime land in the Marina Bay downtown area, it comprises Bay South, Bay East and Bay Central and is designed to showcase horticulture and garden artistry while sharing plant life with Singapore and presenting Singapore to the world.
The organization is looking to hire suitably qualified candidates for the role below.
Role Overview
As the Assistant Manager (Finance), you will report to the Assistant Director, Accounts Payable and help keep the organisation’s financial operations running smoothly.
Key Duties
- Handle payment processing accurately and on time while following financial policies, internal procedures, and GST rules.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities to ensure accounting records are complete and correct.
- Prepare supporting documents and clarifications needed for internal and external audit reviews.
- Look for ways to improve efficiency and compliance in finance workflows and help put those improvements into practice.
- Assist with budget preparation and broader financial planning tasks when needed.
- Record and reconcile donation receipts in line with financial requirements.
- Support special assignments and other ad hoc tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements
Applicants should hold a degree in Accountancy and be comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. The role calls for strong attention to detail, the ability to work to deadlines, and a collaborative mindset. Self-motivation is important, and on-the-job training will be provided.
