Position Overview

Serco is seeking an Army Forward Planner to support the Army Sustainment Command (ASC) in Wiesbaden, Germany. This role involves aiding in the management of daily operations and coordination associated with the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP).

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and synchronize daily operations for LOGCAP, providing operational insights and recommendations.
  • Conduct detailed research and analysis of policies, regulations, and industrial matters; prepare briefings, informational papers, and maintain training and exercise documentation via SharePoint.
  • Develop and maintain accurate LOGCAP contract documentation including technical data packages, exhibits, and diagrams, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Review, analyze, and draft staff actions, requests, briefings, and memorandums compliant with Army regulations, collaborating with local LOGCAP Planners.
  • Monitor ongoing and upcoming operational events and training exercises; assist in responding to inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Prepare special studies, briefings, and manage Master Scenario Event List (MSEL) injects for exercises.
  • Design and update exercise scheduling requirements and participate in training events associated with LOGCAP.
  • Develop course curriculum related to this role as necessary.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Must hold an active DoD Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum 10 years supporting Joint, U.S. Army, or component level headquarters, with recent experience at a one-star or higher command.
  • Graduate of Military Intermediate Level Education (MEL4) and Support Operations Course (Phase 2) with relevant logistics deployment and combat support experience.
  • Functional knowledge of the Joint Operation Planning Process (JOPP) and comprehensive understanding of the Army sustainment ecosystem and its interfaces with other headquarters.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time; valid U.S. passport required.
