AI Product Manager

Role Overview

Join Garena as an AI Product Manager and work at the convergence of AI agents, automation, and real-world business challenges. Collaborate closely with engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to conceive, develop, and deliver impactful AI-driven products.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product management for AI innovations, encompassing discovery, scoping, prototyping, deployment, and iterative improvement in live environments.
• Identify and prioritize high-value opportunities in player-facing features, operational workflows, and internal tools, deciding what products should be developed.
• Select appropriate technical solutions for diverse challenges, choosing between rule-based systems, classical machine learning, large language models (LLMs), AI agents, or mixed approaches; engage in technical discussions considering trade-offs in prompting, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), fine-tuning, model choice, tool integration, system latency, and cost effectiveness.
• Design AI-native user experiences including chat systems, copilots, human-in-the-loop mechanisms, fallback strategies, and feedback loops; establish evaluation criteria for product effectiveness.
• Construct prototype code demonstrations using tools like Claude Code or Codex to facilitate concrete engineering discussions before formalizing specifications.
• Coordinate stakeholders from leadership teams to engineering and end users, aligning project goals and promoting product adoption.
• Engage directly with end users to observe product interaction, troubleshoot issues immediately, and apply insights for product refinement.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 2 years full-time experience in product management or founder-like roles in startups, with a demonstrated history of advancing products from concept to launch.
• Possess a builder’s mindset favoring rapid prototyping over delayed polished documentation, leveraging coding, no-code, or AI tools independently.
• Hands-on experience in deploying LLM-based products or enterprise AI solutions, with expertise guiding projects involving Chat, Copilot, RAG, AI Agents, automation workflows, internal tools, or productivity platforms from proof-of-concept through launch and scale.
• Comfortable working amidst AI system uncertainty, focusing on building reliability through thorough evaluations, fallback plans, and human-in-the-loop designs.
• Strong intuition for transforming complexity and ambiguity into clear, dependable product experiences.
• Adaptable, proactive, and open to continuous learning.
• Committed to delivering high-quality work within deadlines, with strong accountability.
