Position Overview
The DeVoe School of Business, Technology, and Leadership is actively recruiting experienced Adjunct Faculty to deliver graduate-level project management courses in an asynchronous online format. There are also additional teaching opportunities available for international student courses that feature a hybrid format combining online coursework with a two-day in-person session in Merrillville, Indiana or Dallas, Texas.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct timely instructional duties aligned with the college's mission, policies, and procedures.
- Utilize diverse teaching strategies to promote student learning, encourage interactive discussions, engage all students actively, maintain accurate class records, provide timely assessment of assignments, and communicate student progress.
- Maintain up-to-date expertise in the subject matter and exhibit enthusiasm for teaching and learning backed by relevant professional experience.
- Integrate Biblical principles within the course content.
- Communicate professionally and academically within the Indiana Wesleyan University community.
Required Qualifications
- Candidates must hold either a Doctorate in business or related fields along with PMP or PgMP certification and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in both Agile and traditional project management methodologies, or
- A Master's degree in business or related fields, PMP or PgMP certification, and at least 5 years’ experience in both Agile and traditional project management practices.
- Preferred is over 7 years of relevant business or industry experience.
- Teaching experience is advantageous.
