The company caters to international clients by managing a broad range of transaction cycles including sales, call center operations, back office support, collections, and IT-enabled processes.
Role Overview and Responsibilities
- Serve as the main liaison between the US Accounting teams and Indian operations to ensure smooth communication and coordination.
- Collaborate with teams from Accounting, Operations, Collections, Recovery, Customer Service, and other departments to gather essential financial data.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports daily, weekly, monthly, and as needed for US management.
- Conduct thorough reviews, validations, and reconciliations of accounting and operational data to ensure accuracy.
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures effectively.
- Oversee the accuracy of reports and ensure all deadlines are strictly observed.
- Analyze financial information to detect discrepancies and identify trends that impact the business.
- Engage with US stakeholders to address and resolve any queries related to reporting and accounting.
- Create and maintain reporting dashboards as well as Excel-based financial models for enhanced data presentation.
- Ensure strict adherence to internal accounting policies and reporting standards.
- Lead initiatives aimed at process improvements to boost reporting precision and operational efficiency.
- Manage cross-departmental projects linked to finance and accounting activities to support organizational goals.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in US Accounting or Finance Operations within Shared Services or Global Capability Centers (GCC).
- Background in Automotive Finance, Banking, Financial Services, or BPO sectors.
- Proficiency with ERP platforms such as Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or NetSuite.
- Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau tools is a valuable plus.
