Position Overview
We invite a motivated Account Manager to join our South Australian Recycling team based at Gould Creek Quarry. Reporting to the Business Development Manager, you will manage and grow sales of inbound recycling products across South Australia, primarily partnering with clients in the construction and demolition industry. Your role will focus on fostering quality customer relationships, driving commercial growth, retaining clients, and exemplifying Boral’s high standards and values in all interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and nurture strong connections with an existing customer portfolio.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase sales regionally.
- Provide expert guidance on our product and service range, tailoring solutions to client needs.
- Coordinate with operations to facilitate timely and efficient product delivery.
- Analyze market dynamics, customer demands, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales proposals, quotations, and contractual documents.
- Maintain outstanding customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem resolution.
- Consistently achieve or surpass sales targets and key performance indicators.
- Track client trading patterns to evaluate risk profiles and discover additional sales prospects.
Candidate Requirements
- Demonstrated background in account management, sales, or business development, ideally within waste management, logistics, or construction sectors.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proven skill in cultivating and sustaining stakeholder relationships.
- Self-driven with strong results orientation and capacity to work independently.
- Full driver’s license and readiness for regional travel, including occasional overnight stays.
- Dedication to upholding safety and environmental protocols.
