18T Delivery Driver

About the role

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys local driving, working as part of a delivery team, and building strong connections with regular customers. The role is for 45 hours a week and includes varied local routes alongside customer interaction.

Drivers are central to the business, and this job is focused on making sure deliveries reach customers promptly and with a high standard of service.

The working pattern follows an “any 5 from 7” rota, which means weekend shifts will be part of the schedule. Overtime may also be available.

Key duties

You will be expected to help keep customers stocked with the items their own customers need. This includes loading goods at the branch, unloading them at customer sites, and completing delivery paperwork carefully and correctly.

What you need

The role requires a Cat C / 18T driving licence, along with at least two years of driving experience. Prior delivery-driving experience is preferred. You should also be comfortable handling manual deliveries, communicate well with others, and bring a positive customer-service approach. Good reading, writing, and number skills are also important.
