About the Internship
This internship offers hands-on experience in building and managing WordPress websites using Elementor and custom template layouts. The selected intern will contribute to website updates, develop landing pages, and implement content. A critical focus will be optimizing site performance, enhancing page speed, ensuring responsiveness, and improving Core Web Vitals metrics. The role involves applying on-page technical SEO strategies, troubleshooting plugin or styling issues, and assisting in routine site maintenance including plugin and theme management. Testing websites across multiple device types and collaborating closely with UI/UX designers and marketing teams to create new pages will also be key responsibilities. Documentation of development progress and technical processes is required to maintain clarity and continuity. Overall, this position supports maintaining high standards of website quality, security, and performance.
Responsibilities
- Assist in creation and maintenance of WordPress pages utilizing Elementor and customized layouts
- Support website content updates and design of landing pages
- Enhance website speed, responsiveness, and overall performance metrics
- Apply standard on-page SEO technical optimizations
- Identify and resolve issues related to layout, plugins, styling, and responsive design
- Manage WordPress plugins and themes, and perform regular maintenance tasks
- Conduct cross-device testing on desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms
- Work collaboratively with UI/UX and marketing teams on page development
- Document tasks, updates, and technical implementations comprehensively
- Help uphold website quality, security, and performance benchmarks
Eligibility and Requirements
This opportunity is suitable for candidates who can commit full-time to an in-office internship, starting between July 31, 2026, and September 4, 2026, with a six-month duration. Applicants must have relevant skills and interests in web development and be pursuing or have completed a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or similar fields.
- Basic skills in WordPress, Elementor, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Understanding of responsive web design principles
- Knowledge of SEO basics and website performance improvements
- Familiarity with Git or other version control tools is advantageous
- Strong problem-solving abilities and eagerness to learn new web technologies
