About the Internship
This internship provides hands-on experience in managing and optimizing payment collections for an IT community platform company headquartered in Chennai. The intern will be responsible for communicating with customers to ensure timely fees collection and supporting finance operations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, and customers to follow up on pending payments through phone calls, emails, WhatsApp, and other platforms.
- Ensure outstanding fees and subscription payments are collected promptly to maintain cash flow.
- Keep detailed records of collection activities, payment schedules, and all customer communications.
- Address payment inquiries and work closely with relevant internal departments to resolve issues swiftly.
- Monitor late payments and strategically escalate significant overdue accounts for further action.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive reports on collections and payment statuses to management.
- Strive to achieve collection targets while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction.
- Assist finance and operations teams with payment reconciliation and ongoing tracking tasks.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be available for a full-time, in-office internship in Chennai.
- Internship start date should be between August 5, 2026, and September 9, 2026.
- Commitment to a six-month internship period.
