Role Overview
In your role as Workplace Experience Manager in Nigeria, you will be the pivotal force uniting our team. We seek a "Culture Hero," someone who elevates our office environment to become the most desirable workspace nationally - not just any administrator.
Key Responsibilities
- Foster and preserve Glovo’s company culture by organizing engaging events such as "Glovo Talks" and the most vibrant "Friday Socials" in Nigeria.
- Ensure the workspace maintains impeccable cleanliness and functionality, anticipating and addressing maintenance issues proactively.
- Act as an expert negotiator with local vendors to secure high-quality services and products at competitive prices.
- Enhance new joiners' experience by providing a welcoming and supportive onboarding process that makes them feel immediately at home.
- Oversee office operations including budget management, health and safety protocols, and logistics to allow the team to focus on growth and performance.
Candidate Qualifications
- Demonstrates a proactive can-do attitude, expertly solving problems regardless of their size or detail.
- Fluent in English to effectively communicate with local and international teams.
- Highly organized yet adaptable, capable of handling both administrative tasks and social events simultaneously in a fast-paced, startup environment.
- Exhibits a strong sense of ownership by treating the office space as their personal environment.
