About the Role
Join Downer's Auckland team as a Work Management Lead, heading the Dispatch function to enhance scheduling, workforce management, and operational efficiency. This role contributes significantly to the smooth operation of essential infrastructure services by improving systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate scheduling and delivery of reactive, planned, and preventative maintenance.
- Lead workforce planning including roster creation and resource allocation to meet operational needs.
- Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators and service outcomes.
- Champion continuous process improvements and support system integration initiatives.
- Serve as the primary escalation contact for operational incidents, disruptions, and customer concerns.

Candidate Profile
- Minimum five years’ experience in dispatch, scheduling, control centres, or field service coordination.
- Proven ability to monitor operations, analyze KPIs, and implement improvement strategies.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with collaborative teamwork mindset.
- Competent in workload prioritization and resource management in fast-paced environments.
- Experienced in using workforce management, scheduling, CRM, and asset management software.
