Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Warehouse Specialist to join the Motion business within our High Power division located in Vadodara, India. This position, reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, requires expertise in warehouse processes, inventory oversight, logistics coordination, and team leadership with a focus on safety and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse functions including receipt, storage, order picking, packing, and shipment dispatch.
  • Ensure accurate and prompt processing of all incoming and outgoing shipments, including timely Goods Receipt Note (GRN) and issuance.
  • Manage subcontractor dispatch activities efficiently.
  • Track warehouse productivity and initiate improvements to optimize efficiency and space utilization.
  • Perform inventory control through cycle counting, audits, and resolving discrepancies, ensuring FIFO compliance.
  • Use ERP/WMS platforms (such as SAP) to execute inventory transactions, generate reports, and maintain accurate documentation in line with audits and company policies.
  • Lead, train, and support warehouse personnel while collaborating with procurement, production, planning, and transport teams for materials handling.
  • Ensure strict adherence to warehouse safety protocols, promote 6S methodology, conduct safety audits, and mitigate potential hazards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 7 to 8 years of experience handling warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics management.
  • Proficiency with SAP and Warehouse Management Systems.
  • In-depth understanding of warehouse best practices, key performance indicators, and operational reporting.
