Role Overview

The Warehouse Manager position is an active leadership role requiring hands-on management in a fast-paced, physical setting. This role entails overseeing a team of warehouse staff, ensuring rental equipment is maintained and ready, coordinating logistics so every delivery and return happens efficiently, and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. During peak event season, this role is critical to seamless operations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse activities including equipment arrivals, departures, staging, and yard organization.
• Lead, schedule, and mentor warehouse staff to foster a culture of accountability and high performance.
• Guarantee all rental items are inspected, cleaned, repaired, and prepared for events at all times.
• Maintain a safe and efficiently run warehouse in line with company standards.
• Coordinate crew schedules and timekeeping to meet operational needs during regular and peak periods.
• Work closely with operations and logistics leaders to synchronize warehouse activities with delivery and event timelines.
• Track inventory conditions, highlight maintenance issues timely, and address discrepancies.
• Enforce safety guidelines and company policies while setting a good example for the team.
• Identify process inefficiencies and lead continuous improvements in warehouse operations.
• Manage team performance matters directly, conducting coaching, corrective action, and recognition as needed.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrated leadership experience in warehouse, logistics, or operations within fast-paced environments.
• Strong people management skills, including motivating, developing talent, and enforcing accountability.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities, adapt to changing schedules, and meet tight deadlines successfully.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration across departments.
• Comfortable using basic computer tools like Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
• Detail-oriented and organized with a problem-solving mindset.
• Availability to work extended hours and weekends during busy event seasons.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record as per company standards.
• Physically able to stand, walk, move around the warehouse for long periods, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Bilingual English-Spanish skills are highly preferred, reflecting the local market advantage.
