Role Overview

Segadty is looking for a Warehouse, Inventory, and Asset Custodian to handle receiving, storage, issuance, counting, and reporting for inventory and company assets. The role supports warehouse operations, retail stores, fulfillment teams, and external events by keeping stock records accurate and assets properly controlled.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accept incoming assets and stock items, check that quantities and specifications match approved purchase orders, and log all receipts accurately in the system.
  • Flag and report any shortages, damage, or mismatches discovered during receiving.
  • Arrange inventory in the warehouse so items are stored efficiently, remain accessible, and meet the required storage conditions.
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organized, safe, and secure in line with established procedures.
  • Issue inventory and assets to operations, fulfillment partners, retail outlets, and event teams based only on approved requests.
  • Record every issuance transaction correctly in the inventory system or other designated records.
  • Maintain current and reliable inventory records at all times.
  • Watch minimum stock thresholds and alert management when replenishment is needed.
  • Support order preparation with the warehouse team and release items to the fulfillment or picking team as required.
  • Track packaging supplies such as cartons, bags, bubble wrap, and labels to avoid disruptions in operations.
  • Carry out periodic and annual stock counts, then match physical quantities with system balances.
  • Investigate stock differences and prepare the necessary variance reports.
  • Protect company assets and inventory from damage, loss, and misuse.
  • Escalate damaged, expired, or obsolete items without delay.
  • Work with the Finance Department on cases involving lost or damaged company assets.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports covering inventory movement and asset utilization.
  • Highlight slow-moving, low-stock, damaged, and obsolete inventory items.
  • Produce daily operational reports to support warehouse and retail activities.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Strong command of Microsoft Excel at an advanced working level.
