Position Summary
We are seeking a Warehouse Despatcher to join our Night Shift team. This role involves ensuring that warehouse systems, procedures, and team management practices are effectively aligned with the evolving demands of the warehouse to deliver cost-efficient and quality services.
Role Details
- Location: Wiri, Auckland
- Shift: Night shift from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM
- Working Days: Monday to Friday with occasional weekend shifts required
- Team Size: 12 members on PM shift
- Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
- Recruitment Process: Formal interview, online assessment, background check, and pre-employment medical examination
Key Responsibilities
- Utilise experience with SAP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to manage despatch operations efficiently
- Demonstrate proven skills in despatch operations
- Assist the Shift Manager in leading warehousing and raw material tasks
- Ensure daily operations optimize resource usage
- Collaborate effectively with despatchers from other shifts to enhance service levels
- Implement initiatives aimed at maintaining distribution centre budget targets
