Role overview
JYSK Canada is seeking a Warehouse Colleague in Richmond, British Columbia. This position is designed for someone who wants more than a routine shift and is interested in joining a supportive team with room to develop professionally. As part of a fast-growing home furnishings retailer, the role contributes to smooth store logistics and a positive customer experience.
What you will do
In this role, you will keep store backroom operations running efficiently by unloading deliveries, organizing stock, and retrieving merchandise when needed. You will support colleagues on the sales floor and at the cash desk, while making safety a constant priority and following warehouse work practices carefully.
You will also help customers receive prompt and courteous service by staying informed about promotions and sales, maintaining strong product awareness, and helping ensure the store floor looks organized and well stocked. In addition, you will assist with flyer items, pricing updates, and checkout transactions, making sure scanning and payment handling are accurate and efficient.

What you bring
The ideal candidate is comfortable using warehouse equipment such as a pallet jack, can deliver excellent customer service, and is able to assemble furniture. You should be capable of making decisions related to shipping and receiving within company guidelines, and be comfortable working on your own while knowing when to ask for help. Retail experience of at least one year is preferred, and a high school diploma or equivalent is also preferred.
Physical requirements
This role involves active, hands-on work. You should be prepared for walking, standing, climbing, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and other physical tasks. The job also requires moving merchandise using ladders and stock pickers.
Compensation
The role pays an hourly wage. Two pay ranges were provided in the source: $19.50 to $22.00 per hour depending on experience, and also $18.25 to $19.50 per hour depending on experience.
