The company provides specialized products and services across Firefighting, Rescue Operations, Municipal Solid & Sewer Management, Dewatering, and Mechanical maintenance of fresh water reservoirs. Aryan Pumps & Enviro Solutions is a recognized manufacturer of portable engine-driven pump sets, special-purpose suction cum jetting recycler machines, First Response vehicles for Fire & Emergency services, among others. Their clientele includes key government bodies across India and various private sector organizations, supported by their team of over 1,500 professionals focused on innovative liquid waste management and emergency services.
Role Summary
The Sales Executive will be responsible for managing the entire tendering process, coordinating with customers and vendors, preparing and submitting technical and commercial proposals timely, handling documentation, and actively engaging in order conversion. The role demands comprehensive collaboration with internal teams and external clients to ensure successful project execution.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed technical and commercial tenders complying fully with client specifications and tender conditions within deadlines.
- Manage quotations by sourcing and evaluating vendor proposals for cost effectiveness and project fit.
- Organize and maintain all necessary tender documentation, authorization letters, and statutory certifications to ensure compliance.
- Coordinate Earnest Money Deposits (EMDs) and Bank Guarantee (BG) submissions, renewals, and closure processes, maintaining accurate financial records.
- Communicate regularly with customers to track tender progress, clarify technical issues, and negotiate commercially.
- Drive order conversion efforts by promptly following up post tender awards to secure purchase and work orders, facilitating smooth project initiation.
- Maintain MIS records and reports to monitor proposal submissions, tender status, order tracking, and identify business opportunities.
- Ensure contractual compliance by coordinating timely submission of Bank Guarantees, agreements, and other commercial documents as required.
- Conduct quality inspections of materials prior to dispatch and coordinate customer inspections to ensure defect-free deliveries.
- Collaborate with Operations and Maintenance teams to guarantee seamless project handover with comprehensive documentation.
- Undertake additional tasks and assignments as delegated by management to support organizational goals.
Educational Background & Experience
- B.Tech or B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in tendering, sales coordination, proposal management, or business development.
- Preference given to candidates with exposure in industrial, engineering, EPC, or Operation & Maintenance sectors.
Skills and Qualifications
- Expertise in tender and proposal management processes.
- Strong understanding of commercial costing and estimating.
- Proven experience in vendor and customer liaison.
- Excellent ability to handle documentation and contract compliance.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and management information system (MIS) reporting.
- Effective communication and negotiation capabilities.
- Ability to efficiently handle multiple assignments under strict deadlines.
