About the Role

Mediascoop is seeking a talented Video Editor experienced in producing compelling content for various social media platforms including YouTube, Instagram Reels, and Shorts. This role involves transforming raw footage into polished videos that resonate with audiences and reflect the brand’s style.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce and edit both long-form YouTube videos and short-form clips such as Reels and Shorts.
• Incorporate transitions, motion graphics, captions, sound effects, and background music to enhance video appeal.
• Apply color correction and optimize video quality for diverse platforms.
• Create attention-grabbing thumbnails (preferred).
• Ensure all videos are optimized for platform-specific requirements.
• Manage multiple projects efficiently, meeting deadlines while maintaining consistent quality.
• Collaborate closely with content and marketing teams to implement creative concepts.

Required Qualifications

• Expertise with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or equivalents.
• Comprehensive understanding of current content trends on YouTube and Instagram.
• Strong grasp of storytelling, pacing, and video composition techniques.
• Capability to work independently and juggle several assignments simultaneously.
• Basic skills in motion graphics and visual effects provide an advantage.
• A demonstrable portfolio featuring YouTube videos and Reels is mandatory.

Preferred Competencies

• Proficiency in thumbnail creation using Photoshop or Canva.
• Experience utilizing AI-assisted video editing tools.
• Familiarity with YouTube SEO practices and strategies to boost audience engagement.

Additional Information

• Monthly salary ranges from ₹15,000 to ₹30,000, depending on skill level and experience.
