Vice President Human Resources

Position Overview

Ferretti Search is partnering with a growing manufacturing firm to identify a seasoned Vice President of Human Resources based in Charlotte, NC. This leadership role will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and take charge of HR strategy and daily operations across corporate and multiple manufacturing sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement HR strategies that support the organization’s goals.
• Provide guidance to executive and operational leaders on workforce and organizational matters.
• Lead initiatives in recruiting, retention, succession planning, and leadership development.
• Oversee employee relations, investigations, performance management, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Manage compensation packages, benefits, HR policies, and HR information systems.
• Establish and standardize HR processes across all manufacturing locations.
• Direct and develop the HR team.
• Leverage workforce analytics to enhance retention, staffing, engagement, and overall performance.
• Support corporate acquisitions, integrations, and organizational changes as required.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, including senior leadership roles.
• Experience within manufacturing or industrial sectors is mandatory.
• Background supporting multi-site operations and hourly employees is preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of employment law, employee relations, talent management, compensation, and benefits.
• A strategic thinker with the capability to engage hands-on in operational matters.
• Strong communication, leadership, and business partnering abilities.
• Willingness and ability to travel to various company locations as necessary.
