Role Summary
This full-time remote position is responsible for finding, sourcing, and bringing new vendors onto PingMart’s platform to broaden marketplace inventory. The role involves researching suitable vendor segments, creating prospect lists, and reaching out through calls, emails, and virtual meetings to communicate PingMart’s offering. The specialist will assess leads, discuss basic commercial terms within approved limits, and work with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding journey and successful account activation.
Key Duties
- Identify promising vendor categories and research potential partners to build a healthy pipeline.
- Create and maintain targeted prospect lists for outreach campaigns.
- Contact prospects through phone, email, and online meetings to present the platform’s value proposition.
- Screen and qualify leads based on fit, potential, and readiness to join.
- Support basic commercial discussions, including pricing and terms, within company guidelines.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to complete onboarding and activate new vendor accounts.
- Keep CRM records accurate and up to date.
- Monitor outreach activity, response rates, and other acquisition metrics.
- Collect feedback from the market and share insights to improve acquisition strategy.
- Collaborate across teams to strengthen vendor acquisition processes and outcomes.
Required Background
- Strong analytical ability to review vendor performance, identify opportunities, and use data in decision-making.
- Good interpersonal and customer-focused skills for relationship building and partner support.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for outreach, presentations, and internal coordination.
- Working knowledge of finance concepts such as pricing, margins, and commercial terms.
- Previous experience in business development, sales, or vendor management within a marketplace or e-commerce setting is preferred.
- Comfort using CRM and productivity software, along with solid organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing a pipeline and meeting acquisition goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
