Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Valeter to join our Vauxhall/Peugeot branch located in Stoke-on-Trent. This is an active, hands-on role ideal for detail-oriented individuals who enjoy working as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare sold and stock vehicles to a pristine standard.
• Operate high-powered pressure washers for exterior vehicle cleaning.
• Vacuum and shampoo vehicle interiors to maintain cleanliness.
• Use polishing and buffing machines to enhance vehicle bodywork appearance.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines when handling chemicals.
• Maintain and secure all tools and equipment, reporting any malfunctions and complying with manufacturer and PPE requirements.
• Work efficiently to meet allotted timeframes and targets.
• Manage vehicle cleaning schedules through an online diary system.
• Maintain daily logs of completed work and support other branch duties as necessary.

Requirements

• Possession of a full UK driving licence.
• Basic proficiency with computer usage.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Self-driven with the capability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to engage in training programs, including attendance at Arnold Clark's Valet Academy.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a valet role is desirable but not mandatory, as comprehensive training will be provided to highly enthusiastic candidates meeting other essential criteria.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time role with working hours from Monday to Thursday 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and alternate Saturdays 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
