About the Role
We are seeking a User Interface Designer to join a vibrant digital venture studio focused on delivering clean, modern, and conversion-optimized landing pages primarily for English-speaking markets. The position requires a mobile-first design approach combined with responsive desktop layouts, emphasizing accessibility and clear typographic hierarchy. You will work closely with clearly defined briefs, finalized content, and visual direction to produce calm and trustworthy visuals, steering clear of typical generic startup design trends. Experience working on projects for English-language or Western audiences is highly regarded. Organizing Figma files effectively for smooth developer handoffs is a key requirement. While experience with Next.js and Vercel is advantageous, it is not mandatory.
Primary Responsibilities
- Create landing pages optimized for mobile devices with fully responsive designs for desktop, aimed at English-speaking users.
- Employ clear, accessible typography and establish a visual hierarchy that enhances conversion rates and builds user trust.
- Develop visually calm, contemporary designs that avoid clichéd startup elements like gradients and common trends.
- Maintain well-structured and organized Figma files to facilitate easy handoffs to development teams.
- Collaborate closely with briefs, copywriters, and technical specifications to ensure the design meets all requirements.
- Design two variants of the hero section for A/B testing as part of a paid test assignment.
- Communicate design decisions clearly and iterate based on feedback effectively.
- Optionally participate in landing page development if experienced with Next.js and Vercel.
Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated experience designing landing pages for English or Western markets, supported by a strong portfolio.
- Expertise in mobile-first and responsive website design methodologies.
- Proficient in using Figma, especially in organizing design files for development collaboration.
- In-depth knowledge of accessibility standards, UX best practices, and conversion rate optimization.
- Ability to craft visuals that convey calmness, trustworthiness, and modern aesthetics.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of Next.js and Vercel is a plus but not required.
- Willingness to complete a paid test design task with the potential for continuous work engagement.
- Capable of providing estimated delivery timelines and clarifying whether services include design only or both design and development.
Additional Information
Selected applicants will undertake a compensated test assignment to design a single-page mobile app landing page, including two hero section variations for A/B testing. Successful completion can lead to a permanent role with ongoing projects.
